Kitty – Principal & Agent

Since the age of 16, Kitty has been teaching children all aspects of performing arts and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has an undeniable passion for teaching and inspiring young people. Kitty graduated with a first class honours degree in Acting from the prestigious Manchester School of Theatre. Since graduating she has worked professionally as an actor, most recently appearing alongside Cate Blanchett in TAR and as Ella Ridley in popular ITV drama RIDLEY. Through sharing and using established training techniques, Kitty has a unique ability to hone an individuals natural talent, allowing them to become the best that they can be.

Scarlett – Vice Principal

Scarlett is an experienced performer and musician training in Music and Performance at the BIMM Institute. She has lots of teaching experience having followed in her sister’s footsteps and teaching at KWA. Her theatre credits include Anna in The Piper of Hamelin Musical (Rose Theatre, Kingston), Tessie in Annie (UK Tour). With Scarlett’s ability as a musician and creativity as a director, she is the perfect addition at KWA and the children adore her.

Bex

Rebecca gained a degree at Salford University studying performing arts and has worked for many years in television and film, being a series regular on Hollyoaks, as-well as many other well known shows such as Shameless, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, The Royal, various commercials with stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Trevor McDonald reconstructions, Ghost Ship with David Jason and many more.

Rebecca has taught performing arts for over 18 years in various primary and high schools and in various theatre schools. Rebecca also taught for A.C.E community experiences teaching children performing arts from under privileged areas.

She has gained lots of experience and success in guiding and successfully casting various children in professional roles over the years, whilst also supporting her own children who also work professionally in the industry.

Rebecca currently performs in the UK’s top greatest showman tribute and various other Movie and Musical theatre shows performing all around the country. Rebecca is delighted to be part of the KWA team.

1-2-1 Singing

Kirsty

Kirsty has been singing professionally all over the country for over 14 years. She is the lead singer of a 4 piece wedding/party band as well as an acoustic duo and a solo singer. Kirsty has many years of experience as a performer and a teacher.

She studied National BTEC Diploma in Musical Theatre whilst at college and has a HND in Media Performance from Salford University.

Last year, Kirsty completed her diploma in Teaching Singing and we are so lucky to have her!

Miss Loren

Loren has trained in all styles of dance from a young age before moving to London to train in Musical Theatre at the prestigious ArtsEd. After her training, Loren went on to perform in several cabaret’s and productions before deciding to complete her ISTD teaching qualifications and move forward as a choreographer and teacher. She notably brought home 2 gold and 2 silver medals for Team England with her dance team at the Dance World Cup.

Miss Karolina

Since gaining her first teaching qualification in ballet in 1999, Karolina has enjoyed working within different contexts. Bringing dance into the lives of pre-schoolers through to the elderly, whether a toddler or a full-time dance student, she enjoys assisting every individual along a unique journey of discovery, so that anyone, at any stage in their life can enjoy the holistic benefits that dance brings. Karolina holds a Master of Arts Degree in Ballet Studies from Roehampton University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and Visual Arts from Manchester Metropolitan University and the Advanced Labanotation Certificate through the Labanotation Institute, University of Surrey. She gained Vocational and Teaching qualifications with the RAD, IDTA, ISTD and NATD.

Miss Karolina

Jazz, Musical Theatre & Mini Ballet

Miss Caitlin

Caitlin trained as a professional dancer at Preston College Dance Academy and graduated achieving a Diploma in Professional Dance, as well as attaining full teaching qualifications. After graduating, she moved to London where she worked with some of the top directors and choreographers within the industry. Caitlin also taught and coached children in West End shows such as Annie, School of Rock, Miss Saigon and Matilda. She’s since returned to the North West to continue teaching across the country as well as adjudicating and choreographing professionally.

Miss Bea

Bea completed her professional training at Bird College in London. After graduating with a first-class honour in Musical Theatre and Professional Dance in June 2022, she started her first professional contract onboard the cruise ship MSC ARMONIA as a dancer and dance captain whilst sailing around South America to places including Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. She has most recently just returned home from traveling around Europe onboard MSC Orchestra. Bea says “Teaching the next generation everything I have learnt through my professional training and work is something that I love and it’s wonderful to see them grow, love and enjoy the performing arts with me.”
