FAQ’s
- What ages do you represent?
- We represent babies from birth up to aged 18.
- Will we have to travel?
- Yes, and sometimes abroad! Most of the work and castings tend to be in Manchester, Leeds and London. Please consider whether you would be able to get to these locations at short notice before applying.
- Are there any fees?
- In compliance with the BIS regulations, we do not charge any registration or upfront fees. However, it is essential that all our young artists aged 3+ have an agency photo shoot at least once a year with our agency photographer. These shoots are charged, but at what we believe is a very reasonable rate.
- What is Spotlight?
- Spotlight Children and Young Performers directory is the UK’s definitive database of performers aged 4 – 25. It is the best way for any young performer to promote themselves for casting opportunities. Children can join any time after their 4th birthday.
- Can we have another agent?
- No, Kitty & Co Casting are a sole management agency meaning you cannot be with another acting agency whilst represented by us. If your child has a separate agent strictly for modelling, we may still consider.
- Does my child need to attend classes?
- Not necessarily, however this usually depends on the child. We do believe that the children who attend classes on a weekly basis are often more at ease when auditioning or attending castings due to being used to that sort of environment.
